I’m so pre-occupied with other things (work, reading, reviewing and translating books, training etc.) now that I have no time to focus on new GOB record, “Sacred Place” has to do for now. I got quite positive feedback about this album and I’m really happy about it. You can still purchase it through many mail-orders, such as Beast Of Prey, DarkZone, Cold Spring, Equilibrium Music, Twilight Records and many more – I have some copies left so if you want me sign on for you, go ahead and e-mail me.
What’s bringing me joy these days: Mark Kozelek “Lost Verses – live”, Solanaceae/Of The Wand & The Moon, Greek Orthodox & Georgian choirs, Cat Power, The Field, brilliant new Sieben album, Fever Ray, Irish hard-boiled crime novels, Alan Moore’s writings, qigong…

Hey there,
On my MySpace profile I posted “Wounded by Dub” available for download for free.
It is a remix of one of the songs from “…And Should The Spring Come”, that was supposed to appear on some compilation. But the person responsible for this record is not answering any e-mails, so I decided to publish the remix anyway.
Remix was done by my friend Musley, it is very dub-oriented track. Dub is one of my fascinations – actually when I was a teenager doing graffiti, my first big accomplishment was the letters “DUB” written with red and black flames (together with Massive Attack logo underneath). So perhaps “Wounded by Dub” is a sign of things to come for Ghosts Of Breslau in the future. One of my dreams is to make a whole album of dub deconstructions of my old tracks. We will see…
In the meantime, listen to the song and visit Musley’s profile.

1. So I guess the new album is not released yet, at least physically. There are some delays in pressing company, that much I know. So everyone who keeps e-mailing me about purchasing “Sacred Place” directly from me – please be patient.
2. There’s new review of “And Should The Spring Come…” on mentenbre.com – it’s in Spanish, but the English translation (via babelfish) is available here. One thing: the reviewer is surprised to find song “Asturias Patria Querida”, official Anthem of Spain’s Asturia. Polish version of this song was very popular in Poland, especially during the 60’s and 70’s. Some even think that the melody comes from Polish miners that worked in Asturia in the beginning of 20th century.
3. Music that I listen a lot these days: The Knife (epecially live album, pure brilliance), Michael Stearns, “Dark Side Of The Moog” series, new Herbst9 album (great!), The Bug, Twilight Singers, Woven Hand…

Here’s the statue of king Boleslaw Chrobry (Boleslaw I of Poland, or Boleslaw The Brave) – the new monument in my town. Kinda too big and ugly in my opinion, but few photos came up OK. In his hand you can see the copy of legendary Holy Lance, that he received from Otto III, Holy Roman Emperor in year 1000 at the Congress of Gniezno. Only copy, but according to legend it contains splinters of the original hidden inside.
So now Spear of Destiny is watching over Breslau…
